A.M.E. Zion Church of Kingston is inviting you to attend the Historic Marker Dedication Ceremony, celebrating the AME Zion Church and its Mt. Zion Cemetery inclusion on the National Register. In addition, the church and cemetery were honored with the William G. Pomeroy Foundation’s Historic Marker Grant. We are holding a dedication ceremony to recognize the Foundation’s generous contribution, without which the national markers wouldn’t be possible!
We look forward to celebrating this historic occasion with our entire community, and hope that you can join us!
The event is scheduled for 12pm, Saturday, November 5th, 2022 at the church’s Mt. Zion Cemetery. Attached you will find the event flyer (with the address). We would be honored if you could attend!
