MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of The African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church is to increase our love for God and to help meet the needs of humankind by "Loving God with all our heart, with all our soul, and with our entire mind, and to love our neighbors as ourselves."

Christian Discipleship

How do we begin?

Christian discipleship through community outreach embodies the teachings of Jesus Christ by putting faith into action through love, compassion, service, and a commitment to social justice. Rooted in the mission of spiritual empowerment and social change, The African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church embraces a holistic approach to ministry that nurtures the spiritual, physical, emotional, and economic well-being of individuals, families, and communities both locally and abroad. The Gospel in action inspires congregations to provide food assistance, affordable housing support, employment resources, health care, educational opportunities, and services for vulnerable populations.

The Church continues its enduring mission of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ through faithful service, community empowerment, and a living commitment to God's love for all humanity.
